i never expected...

to lose ten pounds in less than three weeks. i've been following the guidelines and the exercise regimen that the Angels suggested a few weeks ago. part of the weight loss is undeniably linked to hormones. but there's no denying my clothes are looser than they were, i made it through my extremely erratic period without serious bingeing or cravings, and im feeling undeniably peppier.

so what exactly have i been doing? walking, mostly - a 30-minute walk in the morning, and again in the evening, plus twenty minutes of yoga. some walks are fast, some walks are slow. some walks are measured and even. it's however i feel like walking at the moment. some walks i've skipped. but for the most part, there's only been a day or two where i've not walked or stretched at all.

so my sense that eating and exercising the way the Angels suggest we do will enable us to achieve a balanced state of dynamic stasis... seems to be correct.

if any gentle readers are following these guidelines, and would like to share their experiences, the Angels welcome your participation!

I love this. I lost the biggest part of my weight (almost 40 lbs) when I was walking regularly. Now that I'm "stuck" and gained back a few, I've realized that I've not had (ok not made) the time for my regular walking routine. Time to start back again - get rid of these "extras" once and for all.

hey annie,
thanks for changing the comment format! :-)

i'm really happy for your weight loss. it's such a great feeling when our clothes start fitting better.

i've gained about 15 pounds!!!! since i stopped eating and living the angel way. not to mention my acne got much worse than ever before, and my IBS flared up big time.

i always walk 20 minutes in the am and 20 in the pm, since i have 2 dogs, but over the winter i got really lazy about any other exercising. lately i've also been walking (not running) on the treadmill, doing some light weight training, yoga and stretching, as well as dancing. i mix it up to keep from getting bored, and i ALWAYS listen to my body. i don't follow a list of weights or yoga poses to do, or push myself to go that extra mile. i think it's important to feel good and energized WHILE exercising, as well as when you are done.

yes! i know that when i was eating and living the angel way, i was the most balanced i've ever been in MY WHOLE LIFE! and then when starting ignoring what i had learned, and what i Knew, i found myself in one of the most unbalanced states i'd ever been in.

now...i'm getting back on track! :-):-)

I've been going to an acupuncturist for weight loss but not being very successful. I'm following this blog and have done a couple of the things, like listing everything I eat. Talk about a reality check. Whew! Meanwhile I know exercise is the best route and I just cannot bet myself to make the first jump into the arena of physical activity! Push me Annie, push!
